With a jolt, the High Priestess leaves the land of The Lovers and looks towards the realm of The Chariot. The path looks complex and dark shadows of obstruction loom from the sidelines.  It’s been more shock than surprise, discovering those who are prepared to block her way and taint her journey with their own fears and opinions. But it’s not even the opposing elements that are the root cause of this dampened confidence. Even her own thoughts are now clouded and confused. Simplicity seems long lost and the High Priestess realises that she will have to dig in deep to make it through the remainder of these lands.

Already in square aspect to Jupiter (The Wheel) and Uranus (The Fool), which causes you to feel lethargic and frustrated – it is with mixed emotions that the High Priestess connects with Pluto (Judgement) in opposition. Granted, they connect each month, but each and every time, emotional revelations rock the boat, forcing you to contend with another life detail that you would probably prefer to forget. The upswing though, with the spotlight shining so intently on how you are feeling, it is often the encouragement you need to reconnect with what is important and truly inspires your heartfelt passions. Insecurities heighten and lacking confidence deepens when the Moon comes into square with Saturn. With the opposition to Pluto still lingering, it is oh so easy to lash out at others and become involved in superficial drama, just because you feel bad! Really, turn away from active interaction if feeling tacky and wacky. Use the time productively to be creative. Embrace this opposition as a time to tempt your ego into loving thyself by focusing on your strengths, not what you perceive as your weaknesses.

On the 4th, the High Priestess connects in a trine to Black Moon Lilith. The expression of this energy is extremely personal and will depend on your choices at the time, but it does have the potential to nurture a situation – be it in a negative or positive way. With a conjunction to the South Node, events of the time are karmic in nature and the challenge is to harness the past for a future possibility. With the Moon moving into sextile with the Sun and Mercury conjunction – you are keen to off-load your feelings but will need to keep a handle on how you go about it. Here, you can be hyper-critical and yes, overly dramatic. Temper the blame game and do yourself the biggest favour of choosing your shoulder-to-lean-on wisely. Ensuring your support person is a trusted other keeps you well on the productive emotional path.

The 5th raises an old issue, with a sextile to Sedna indicating that it involves a paternal figure or a financial concern. With Eris agitating the situation with her square to the Moon, mind your levels of panic and keep a calm eye on the real details. Do your best to not be carried away by surface insecurities. Ceres also sits in a quincunx to the Moon, indicating that it will be a delicate time, where you feel that you are simply not getting your way. Seriously, you can hear Eris snickering in the background as her brother Mars, joins the party in a lunar square. Symbolised as the Tower, the overall fed-up and unstable mood is a sure guarantee that one situation or another will head into new ground.

It’s actually been easier than she thought and she has reached the end of the Chariot’s domain. Granted, she had to be firm and push hard against a few obstacles and she did experience a few verbal confrontations – but most of the turmoil stemmed from her own lacking confidence and long-standing insecurities. She can see this fact quite clearly. With a square to Venus (The Empress),  Mars (The Tower) and a quincunx to Neptune (The Hanged Man) – seeing her through her final steps before the world of The Sun, she is excited to move on but part of her knows that something about ‘now’, just isn’t right. She has surmounted a few hurdles, yes – and cleared out the cobwebs of a few skeletons, yes – and whilst she has made a stand against external opinion, part of her knows that certain elements of her present plans are not as she desires. But really, feeling the impending warmth of the Sun, her mood lifts and trines formed between Jupiter and Uranus help her to toss her cares away. Really, her insecurities and doubts will still be there in a few short days – surely she can take some time out from the seriousness and have some fun.
