The High Priestess (Moon) considers her options as she stands, daunted by the world of The Devil (Capricorn) – a land of debauchery and decision making. Where you may have thought that others would impede your future progress, reality begins to dawn that the hardest temptation to conquer at the moment, will be that of your hidden weakness and materialistic, lust-filled desires. Immediately joined by a square to Jupiter (The Wheel of Fortune) an unexpected event or individual can throw another layer of confusion your way. It can be tempting to take the easy way out and believe in what is too good to be true. Alternatively though, in the right karmic environment, this could be just the good luck break you have been hoping for. Uranus (The Fool) briefly joins the equation, causing you to dig in your heels regards a past situation. Here, insight will guide you whether to remain firm regards a past ideal, or change path as new options arrive. With Saturn (The World) also taking a stand, challenge is raised regards imbalance surrounding one of your desires. Decisions are made, one way or the other and you set off with determined resolve, heading upwards, towards the top of the rugged mountain peaks.

It’s a long and lonely path. You look down at your dusty and scraped hands, and wonder just what you have put yourself into. Taking a look behind you at the vast green fields of Temperance (Sagittarius), you sigh with longing. Everything seemed so simple yesterday. Knowing that you hold your destiny within your shadows, you know you must continue. But you are tired, sad and lonely, longing for warmth, comfort and relaxed times. But, continue to climb you must.

Black Moon Lilith joins your journey with a sextile and you are driven to flee those situations that dare to repress. This can bring challenging others into the equation, where opinions clash and discord easily takes place of calm accomplishment. Such a great influence though, in which to champion a cause, where you find emotional respite in being the white knight for someone in need.

The 21st finds the High Priestess (Moon) challenged in the world of The Empress (Venus) and The Tower (Mars). You find that you have to push through the crowd to have your opinions heard, or your needs respected – with even the odd guilt-trip sent your way by others for your attempts to put yourself first. It is important to moderate the moment and prioritise the agenda. Here, planning is your friend as is flexibility when the best laid plans go awry. Expect those around you to ignore your needs as they struggle with their own schedules. That being said though, make sure that you also monitor your own intentions and maintain the connection to your own inner goodness.

Once the Moon and Mercury unite in a trine, the information flows easily between the High Priestess and the Hermit. Finally, you have a direct line to your inner Shaman and can access guidance regards your message of the moment. Communications with others that have been uncomfortable, can take a turn for the better or worse here. It is all dependent on your personal situation and the chosen direction in which you are headed.

It has taken longer than you thought but you have neared the top of the rugged mountain top. Taking a moment to rest, you look down at your tattered clothes and bruised shins, trying to dust the dirt off in vain. Music drifts over the breeze and you look to your left, spying a group of others, laughing and loving, seemingly enjoying their travels through the rough terrain. Reflecting back to when you first started this journey, you remember where you could have chosen another path, perhaps even chosen the path that would have brought you into being a part of this group. You look at them with longing before turning your head away in sadness. “Come to us” you think you hear whispered on the wind, but when you look over, the group is gone and all that is left, is you. A lone tear glides slowly down your cheek.

With the Sun moving into an uncomfortable quincunx with the Moon, the High Priestess is faced with a decision that brings her face to face with the emotional and ego needs of the moment. You can choose the popular route, the one that will gain you the most approval, or you can remain true to your heart – even if it indicates a lonely journey, gathering speed only by your steadfast determination.

Tears wiped away and goals reset in place, the High Priestess connects once again with a sextile to the Fool, and life’s pulse begins to take an excited rhythm. Picking up the pace, you start to leap over the rocky hurdles in front of you, blinded by enthusiasm, life is just not as negative as a few hours ago. Racing to the top of the mountain, you gasp at the beauty before you. Just ahead, is the land of The Star (Aquarius), a place that sparkles with promise. With excitement, you run towards the glistening blue pond of hope and wait, for insight to be yours.
